Rubber Surface vs. Hard Surface

Rubber Surface vs. Hard Surface

There are many options when it comes to pool deck resurfacing throughout our region. Which one is best for you? Please see the chart below to see how different surfaces compare. Of course we are biased to our premium rubber surfacing. Although the initial cost may be more than some options, the long term cost is less. And the benefits of having a rubber surface around your pool are many, as you can see on the chart.

Our premium rubber surface outlasts all hard surfacing options. Why? It's really just common sense when you think about it. When you put a hard brittle surface over concrete, it is doomed from the beginning. As you know, concrete expands and contracts with moisture and temperature changes. So when a hard brittle surface is put over concrete it's just a matter of time until it cracks. Once it's cracked then the erosion begins. Our premium rubber surface expands and contracts with the concrete. Water cannot get between our premium rubber surface and the concrete. So there's no cracking or peeling. Contact us to learn more!
